The Tides Inn is a beloved waterfront, luxury resort nestled on Carter’s Creek in Irvington, Virginia. The property has been a cherished destination for generations and has recently undergone a number of renovations and enhancements that are helping elevate the brand and overall experience. The Tides features 70 luxurious accommodations, tennis and pickleball courts, wellness treatments, a working farm, Markers Space (for artistic activities), its own marina and two distinct restaurants, Salt & Meadow Restaurant and Fish Hawk Oyster Bar. Job Summary
Transport Tides Inn team members to and from team member housing at Taylor Creek to the Tides Inn and provide transportation to other locations as assigned by the Guest Services Manager. Assist the Bell Staff as needed, ex: to valet park guest vehicles or transport guest to area restaurants, provide additional coverage.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles over specified routes or to specified destinations according to time schedules, complying with traffic regulations to ensure that passengers have a smooth and safe ride.Park vehicles at loading areas so that passengers can board.Advise passengers to be seated and orderly while on vehicles.Inspect vehicles and check gas, oil, and water levels prior to departure.Fill the vehicle with gas as needed.Transport Tides Inn Team Members to local destinations as needed.Look for and report any safety hazards.Assess and report any maintenance requests.Repair or replace equipment as needed.Valet guest cars in valet lots on property when needed to assist Bell Staff.Transport guests to area restaurants when needed to assist Bell Staff.May carry out other tasks as assigned by Guest Services Manager.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)Valid driver’s licenseClean driving recordExceptional Customer Service SkillsAbility to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
