Impact of the Role

General Profile
  • Provides leadership to managers and may also have professional staff.
  • Must have at least one manager level direct report
  • Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams
  • Develops departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities
  • Decisions are guided by resource availability and organizational objectives
  • Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment


Essential Functions

- Directs the financial planning projects and statistical studies of the organization.
- Monitors and analyzes organizational budgets and performs periodic planning, forecasting,
analysis, and reporting.
- Develops key performance indicators measuring the financial health of the organization or
assigned units or functions.
- Reviews past and current financial performance against budgeted estimates and develops
models that assist management in understanding the financial impact of business decisions.
- Provides key financial reporting and recommends strategies meant to assist the organization in
meeting its long-term financial objectives.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions
related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions with concurrence from HR & General
Managers.



Required Qualifications

  • Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
  • Discipline/Major: Business, Accounting or Finance degree preferred
  • Additional certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) desired.
  • Knowledge, skills & abilities: Leadership skills. Corporate finance. Financial management. Fiscal management. Accounting software. Financial analysis software.


Physical Requirements

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods
of time.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
