Job Description
About Us
At Paw Prosper, we help pets live healthier, happier lives through our growing family of brands that provide vet-recommended solutions in mobility, rehabilitation, and pain
management.
As part of this family of brands, Respond Systems has been manufacturing trusted
veterinary therapy equipment since 1983. Our laser and magnetic therapy products are used by veterinarians and equine professionals worldwide. We’re a small, dedicated team that values innovation, precision, and the satisfaction of seeing our technology improve animals’ lives.
The Role
We’re looking for an Assembler to join our six-person manufacturing and assembly team. In this hands-on role, you’ll assemble therapy equipment used by veterinary and equine professionals. If you are curious about electronics and want to contribute to a mission-driven company where your work truly matters, this could be a great long-term opportunity to grow and build your career.
Core Responsibilities
Assemble PEMF therapy products by soldering connectors to coils and completing
final product assembly.
Install coils, wiring, foam, and other components into dog beds and therapy
products according to work instructions.
Operate industrial sewing machines to complete final product assembly and
closures.
Sew fabric components and product covers to quality standards.
Willingness to learn sewing machine operation; prior sewing experience is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.
Prepare materials and components for assembly, including organizing parts and
staging production materials.
Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining quality and production
standards.
Inspect completed products to ensure proper workmanship and product quality.
Prepare finished products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and staging
for the shipping department.
Assist with refurbishing and cleaning returned equipment as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Comfortable working around pet-related products and materials.
Due to the nature of our products, employees may be exposed to pet hair, pet
dander, and pet-related materials. Candidates should not have allergies that would
prevent them from working comfortably in this environment
Position Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Good organizational skills and ability to keep work areas tidy
Reliable and motivated with a strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and take on hands-on tasks
Comfortable using basic hand tools such as wire strippers, cutters, and pliers
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and related software
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout an 8-hour shift.
Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks while standing for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and finished products weighing up to 30 lbs.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform general production and warehouse
activities as needed.
Qualified applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of the position
with or without reasonable accommodation.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
Be part of a passionate team making a real impact in animal health
Work with innovative, high-quality products trusted by professionals
Enjoy stability and the opportunity to grow in a long-term role
Small-team environment where your contributions are seen and valued
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18-19 per hour
