This role is a high-impact opportunity to shape and scale the operational backbone of a global Legal function. You will act as a strategic partner to Legal leadership, owning the systems, workflows, and data that enable efficient, transparent, and scalable legal service delivery. The position blends hands-on platform administration with strategic process improvement across contracting, intake, matter management, and reporting. You will play a key role in optimizing Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and legal matter systems while improving cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder experience. In this environment, data-driven decision-making, automation, and operational excellence are central to how Legal delivers value. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, evolving organizations and enjoys building structure where scale and efficiency are critical.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will own and evolve the Legal Operations function, ensuring systems, workflows, and processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs. You will partner closely with Legal leadership to drive operational strategy while managing key legal technology platforms and enabling data-driven decision-making.

  • Partner with Legal leadership to define and execute the Legal Operations roadmap, leading cross-functional initiatives from design through implementation
  • Own administration and optimization of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, including workflows, templates, clauses, user access, and integrations
  • Manage the legal matter management system, including intake, triage, matter tracking, outside counsel coordination, and e-billing processes
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track legal operations performance (cycle times, volume, SLA adherence, spend, and efficiency metrics)
  • Translate operational data into actionable insights and recommendations for Legal leadership and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain legal process documentation, playbooks, and self-service resources to improve consistency and scalability
  • Support legal budget planning, vendor onboarding, and outside counsel management in collaboration with Finance and Legal leadership
  • Drive continuous process improvement and automation initiatives across legal workflows and systems
Requirements

This role requires strong experience in Legal Operations or legal-adjacent business operations, with a focus on systems, process optimization, and cross-functional execution. You should be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing legal technology platforms in a fast-moving environment.

  • 5+ years of experience in Legal Operations, contract operations, or business operations within a corporate environment
  • Proven experience administering and optimizing CLM platforms, including workflow design, reporting, and user enablement
  • Experience with legal matter management systems and intake/ticketing workflows
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build dashboards, interpret data, and drive operational improvements
  • Experience managing or supporting legal spend, e-billing, or outside counsel processes is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without authority
  • Ability to lead process improvement initiatives and manage cross-functional projects end-to-end
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (J.D. not required)
  • Familiarity with legal tech ecosystems and automation tools is a plus
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus eligibility
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance starting on day one
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions
  • Unlimited paid time off plus paid holidays and volunteer days
  • Paid parental leave for all parents, with extended leave for birthing parents
  • Mental health support, wellness resources, and employee assistance programs
  • Flexible remote work environment across the United States
