This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor(a) Android Pleno based in Brazil.
This role focuses on building and evolving robust native Android applications within a modern, agile, and cloud-oriented architecture. You will contribute to the development of scalable mobile solutions designed for high performance, security, and maintainability. Working closely with backend, architecture, and product teams, you will help shape end-to-end features that directly impact user experience. The environment is highly collaborative, with multidisciplinary squads and strong engineering practices. You will be expected to participate actively in architectural decisions, ensuring code quality and technical excellence. This is an opportunity to work on strategic mobile products with real impact at scale.
- Develop and maintain native Android applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and security
- Define and apply mobile architecture best practices aligned with modern engineering standards
- Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers (including Spring Boot teams), architects, and product squads
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to an iterative delivery process
- Perform code reviews and actively contribute to improving overall code quality and maintainability
- Support continuous improvement of development practices and technical solutions
Requirements:
- Solid experience as an Android Developer working on native mobile applications
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java for Android development
- Experience with mobile architecture patterns and scalable application design
- Proven experience integrating applications with RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative squad environments
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing and code review
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
