Job Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to the STAQ Pharma Denver location, providing comprehensive HR consultation and support that aligns people initiatives with business objectives. This role combines strategic partnership with hands-on HR generalist responsibilities, including employee relations, talent support, HRIS administration, time and attendance management, policy implementation, performance management, and day-to-day HR operations. Working closely with business leaders, the HRBP develops and implements people strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness, foster employee engagement, and support the continued growth and success of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership: Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders on people-related matters, ensuring HR initiatives align with business goals.
- HR Administration: Help to oversee the administration of the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity, system optimization, and process improvements.
- Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations as needed. Provide coaching to managers and employees to foster a positive work environment.
- Generalist Functions: Support core HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, Time & Attendance, Benefits Administration, Worker's Comp, leave administration, etc.
- Leadership Development: Support leadership in identifying and developing talent within the organization. Facilitate training and development programs to enhance managerial effectiveness.
- Change Management: Lead and support change initiatives by developing strategies to drive employee engagement and adoption of new processes.
- Organizational Development: Conduct assessments and partner with leadership to implement workforce planning, succession planning, and other HR programs.
- HR Metrics & Analytics: Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, provide insights, and make data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.
- Compliance & Policy Implementation: Ensure HR policies and procedures are communicated, understood, and adhered to within the business unit. Assist in the interpretation and application of company policies and legal compliance.
- HR Liaison: Act as a point of contact between the business unit and HR centers of excellence, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and learning & development.
- Employee Engagement: Assist in managing Employee Engagement events and initiatives to promote a positive employee experience and support in community outreach.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong knowledge of multi-state employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with leadership and employees at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and coaching skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in change management and organizational development.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations.
- Background in a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, manufacturing).
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
