About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Press Operator to join our Production team. This role is responsible for preparing digital files, operating and maintaining digital press equipment, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring print projects meet our quality standards and deadlines. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare jobs for press interface and production workflows
  • Operate and troubleshoot digital press equipment
  • Manage paper inventory and press consumables
  • Monitor print quality and ensure projects meet production standards
  • Assist with finishing operations as needed, including binding, trimming, laminating, shrink wrapping, and perforating
  • Meet production schedules and deadlines while maintaining quality standards
  • Support seasonal production demands, including overtime when required
Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • 2–3 years of digital press operation experience in a high-volume production environment
  • Strong production background in digital printing
  • Experience manipulating PDF files and digital print assets
  • Ability to use RIP software and evaluate print files
  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to lift 35–40 pounds and work in a production environment
  • Willingness to work overtime or adjusted shifts during peak production periods

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with variable data printing
  • Experience in commercial print or manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of print finishing equipment and processes
  • Experience working in deadline-driven production environments
