As our organization continues to grow, we are seeking a driven and experienced Medical Sales Representative to expand our referral network and strengthen relationships throughout the healthcare community.

Position Summary

The Medical Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting Symphony’s services to physicians, healthcare professionals, clinics, hospitals, personal injury attorneys, workers’ compensation partners, and other referral sources.

This position plays an essential role in increasing awareness of our services, developing long-term professional relationships, generating qualified referrals, and supporting continued patient and organizational growth. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, relationship-focused, knowledgeable about the healthcare industry, and experienced in medical, personal injury, and workers’ compensation sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve referral and growth objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with physicians, medical practices, hospitals, personal injury attorneys, workers’ compensation partners, and other referral sources.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including physicians, practice managers, medical staff, case managers, and hospital administrators.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Symphony’s services, specialties, providers, and locations to effectively communicate our value to prospective referral partners.
  • Conduct in-person visits, presentations, educational meetings, and outreach activities to promote Symphony’s services and capabilities.
  • Provide referral partners with educational materials and resources while serving as a knowledgeable point of contact.
  • Maintain consistent communication with existing referral sources and promptly address questions, concerns, or service-related issues.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies as needed.
  • Accurately document sales activities, leads, referrals, and business development opportunities in the company’s CRM system.
  • Prepare regular reports regarding sales activity, referral trends, market feedback, and overall performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, providers, and administrative teams to ensure sales efforts align with organizational goals.
  • Represent Symphony professionally at networking events, community events, conferences, and other business-development activities.
  • Ensure all sales and outreach activities comply with applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Medical or healthcare-related education or experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare referral relationships and industry dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop professional relationships and generate new business.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Required Experience
  • At least 5 years of medical sales experience.
  • At least 2 years of personal injury sales experience.
  • At least 2 years of workers’ compensation sales experience.
