About the Role:

The Music Therapist PD - Board Certified Music Therapist plays a vital role in delivering therapeutic interventions through music to individuals across diverse populations within the United States. Minimum Qualifications:

• Board Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) from the Certification Board for Music Therapists.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid licensure or certification as required by the state of practice within the United States.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical music therapy practice with diverse populations.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and ethical standards in music therapy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Music Therapy or related field.

• Proficiency in multiple musical instruments and technology-assisted music therapy tools.

Responsibilities:

• Implement individual and group music therapy sessions using a variety of techniques such as improvisation, songwriting, and receptive listening.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to coordinate care and support client progress.
