• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices, taking full ownership from initial concept through production support.
• Build scalable, resilient, and high-performing distributed systems capable of supporting complex multi-cloud networking environments.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools and modern engineering workflows to improve productivity, accelerate delivery, and enhance software quality.
• Develop and maintain backend applications using technologies such as Java, Spring, Go, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and related cloud-native technologies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve production services through on-call participation, incident resolution, telemetry analysis, and performance optimization.
• Enhance existing services by identifying opportunities for refactoring, improving reliability, and expanding functionality while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design technical solutions, review code, and deliver high-quality software that aligns with customer needs.
• Contribute to secure software development practices, ensuring distributed systems are reliable, scalable, and designed with security and operational excellence in mind.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional backend software engineering experience with a proven ability to build and deliver production-grade applications.
• Strong programming skills in Java with Spring Framework and Go, along with experience designing RESTful APIs and scalable microservices.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, database schema design, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with Linux environments, containerization technologies, and Kubernetes deployments.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar solutions, with the ability to integrate them into daily engineering workflows.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, software design skills, and a proactive approach to owning products throughout their lifecycle.
• Security-first mindset with an understanding of building reliable, multi-tenant distributed applications.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across geographically distributed engineering teams.
• Experience with networking technologies, cloud networking, SD-WAN, BGP, or related infrastructure concepts is considered a strong advantage.
