Radiology Technologist / Scrub Tech

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for Angio procedures to ensure optimal imaging and safety.
- Operate fluoroscopy machine in accordance with safety protocols.
- Assist surgeons and medical staff during operative procedures by maintaining a sterile environment and providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures performed.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies to protect patients and staff.
- Perform routine equipment checks and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal functioning.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Assist with Inventory Management
Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited X-ray technician/technologist program with State of Oregon License
- Prior experience in radiology, surgical assisting, or scrub tech roles preferred
- Knowledge of radiologic procedures, surgical protocols, and sterile techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and compassionate patient care approach.
- Sufficient knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to identify area for radiology

Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Thursday with very occasional Fridays
- No weekends/Holidays or call required
Compensation dependent on experience
Requirements:- Graduate of accredited X-ray technician/technologist program with current Oregon OBMI and ARRT licensure
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a radiologic technician/technologist in a health care setting
- Previous experience as a scrub/assist and knowledge of sterile technique preferred but will train the right candidate
- BLS required, ACLS preferred
