Schedule
  • Flexible scheduling

What You'll Do
  • Prepare and serve nutritious, appealing meals
  • Assist with food preparation for meals and snacks
  • Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining room
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Monitor food temperatures and properly label and rotate food
  • Set up and reset the dining room between meals
  • Provide friendly, respectful service to residents and guests
  • Work closely with the Dietary Manager and dining team

Requirements: Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous food service, restaurant, or dietary experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to provide friendly, respectful customer service to seniors, families, and coworkers.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (or your organization's required lifting limit).
  • Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screening in accordance with company policy.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience in assisted living, healthcare, or senior living
  • Food Handler/Food Safety certification
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
