Position Overview
The Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting guests between designated locations, including John Wayne Airport and Fletcher Jones Motorcars. This role provides a high level of customer service while ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations, company policies, and California driving laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Guest Transportation & Service
- Safely transport guests to and from John Wayne Airport and the dealership.
- Provide courteous, professional assistance to passengers entering and exiting the vehicle.
- Vehicle Operation & Safety
- Operate shuttle vehicles in full compliance with all applicable traffic laws, California Vehicle Code, and company safety policies.
- Maintain constant awareness of surroundings to ensure the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other drivers.
- Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition, including brakes, lights, tires, mirrors, and safety equipment.
- Cleanliness & Presentation
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the shuttle, including interior and exterior appearance.
- Ensure the vehicle environment is safe, orderly, and free of hazards.
- Operational Support
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining flexibility to meet operational needs.
- Coordinate with dealership staff to ensure efficient guest transportation.
Requirements
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement (P).
Driving Assignments Only
- Valid California driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate automatic vehicles (manual transmission preferred but not required)
- Driving duties are assigned based on role level and operational needs
General Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive motions associated with vehicle movement and lot duties
