- Design, customize, develop, and enhance Oracle Retail Xstore POS applications.
- Build and maintain solutions using Java, XML, SQL, and Oracle technologies.
- Integrate Oracle Xstore with enterprise platforms and third-party systems through APIs and web services.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues by identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Support testing, deployment, release management, and application enhancement activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure development practices follow quality and security standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for ongoing support and system improvements.
- Contribute to Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the stability, performance, and reliability of business-critical retail applications.
The ideal candidate has strong Oracle Xstore development experience, solid programming skills, and a deep understanding of retail point-of-sale systems. You should be comfortable working independently while collaborating with distributed teams to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Oracle Retail Xstore POS solutions.
- Strong experience with Java, XML, SQL, and Oracle databases.
- Proven experience integrating Oracle Xstore with external applications using APIs and web services.
- Solid understanding of retail POS workflows, store operations, and retail technology environments.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting enterprise-level applications.
- Strong analytical thinking, debugging abilities, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile development environments.
- Experience with Oracle Retail Suite products is preferred.
- Knowledge of retail enterprise architecture is an advantage.
- Experience with deployment processes, release management, and cloud-based retail solutions is a plus.
