This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Investigator Grants/Finance Analyst (CRO) based in India.

This role provides an opportunity to support the financial operations behind complex clinical research studies that help bring important treatments to patients worldwide.
You will play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant investigator site payments throughout the study lifecycle.
Working closely with clinical, finance, and site management teams, you will help maintain strong operational relationships and resolve payment-related challenges.
The position combines financial analysis, process management, and customer support within a global clinical research environment.
You will contribute to improving payment workflows, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting high-quality trial execution.

Accountabilities:

The Investigator Grants/Finance Analyst will support the management of clinical trial payment activities by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of financial processes. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across clinical research operations.

  • Support investigator site payment activities, including study setup, payment maintenance, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments while maintaining high standards of customer service for research sites.
  • Assist with setting up study budgets, payment structures, and investigator payee information.
  • Review clinical trial data updates and determine when specific budget items are eligible for payment.
  • Collaborate with site agreement teams to ensure timely receipt and processing of contracts, budgets, and amendments.
  • Communicate with research sites, finance teams, and clinical stakeholders regarding payment inquiries and status updates.
  • Maintain accurate payment tracking records and ensure study financial information remains up to date.
  • Prepare financial reports and payment documentation for study teams and sponsor audit requirements.
  • Generate investigator site payment reports to support project reviews and decision-making.
  • Support improvements and testing of grant payment systems and related processes.
  • Participate in initiatives focused on operational efficiency and continuous process improvement.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support study financial operations.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience in finance, clinical research operations, or grant payment management, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage detailed financial processes in a regulated environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in financial operations, clinical trials, investigator grants, or related payment functions.
  • Understanding of clinical research processes and investigator site payment workflows is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and study requirements effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external research sites.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and issue-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a global team environment.
  • Experience working with financial systems, tracking tools, or clinical trial management platforms is preferred.
