Under the direction of the Staffed Living Program Manager, the Program Administrator works as administrative support to the program and works as a DSP as needed within the Staffed Living & Supported Independent Living programs. The Program Administrator will ensure operational functions are completed, ensure all required training is completed, maintained, and documented, and will provide training to staff and participants as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
STAFF DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING: Provides direct support and role modeling to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) within the Staffed Living & SILP Program. Assesses staff training needs related to client needs and required support. Schedules staff for additional client-specific training as needed.
ADMINISTRATION & RECORD KEEPING: Utilizes centralized scheduling practices within the scheduling system to develop and monitor staff schedules. Ensures schedules are accurate, up to date, and aligned with client needs, including arranging coverage for cancellations. Communicates programmatic and scheduling changes as needed. Ensures accuracy of staff coding within scheduling systems. Submits billing in a timely and accurate manner. Ensures all client timesheets are updated and recorded weekly
PROGRAM COORDINATION & COMPLIANCE: Serves as an advocate on behalf of individuals, the program, and the agency. Trains staff in methods and strategies required to implement Individual Service Agreement (ISA) outcomes and supports. Provides ongoing updates and guidance to staff as client needs or service plans change. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and program standards. Recommends changes or updates to Service Coordinators regarding client needs, supports, and service plans.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Relevant college courses preferred. Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.
- Proficiency is required in a Windows Operating System to include competency in Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Additionally, proficiency is required with day-to-day information entry and retrieval in the Agency’s electronic medical record system, employee electronic expense tracking system, and electronic payroll self-entry system.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
LOCATION & HOURS: Work is primarily performed in an office setting with Core hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
TRAVEL: Travel is required to provide support to individuals served in the community, and additional training needs.
