Join our team at Bridgeway Park Blissfield Senior Living Facility as a Resident Aide. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our valued residents. If you have experience administering medications and have a passion for working with the elderly in a welcoming environment with competitive pay rates, we have the perfect position for you! Responsibilities:
- Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
- Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
- Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
- Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
- Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
- Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
- Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
- Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly
- Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Experience working with the elderly is
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Every other weekend is required.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid Driver’s license or ID.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to arrive on time for every shift.
