Position Information
The Y4 Clerkship Coordinator provides administrative and programmatic support for the School of Medicine’s clinical clerkship program and coordinates the day-to-day activities necessary to support medical students completing clinical rotations. The position manages student scheduling and placement, coordinates with faculty and affiliated clinical sites, supports learner assessments and evaluations, maintains program records and data, and assists with activities related to accreditation and continuous quality improvement. The coordinator serves as a primary resource for medical students, faculty, and clinical partners, helping ensure program requirements, policies, and procedures are met and that students receive a well-organized and high-quality clinical education experience.A minimum of 2–4 years of related experience working with postgraduate students, within a medical school clerkship program, and/or in a graduate education program is required.The full salary range for this position is $68,319.36 - $103,898.88 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $84,292 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, relevant experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, UCR is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.The successful candidate will work fully onsite at the UCR campus during the first six-month probationary period. After that, the position may be eligible to transition to a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite / 2 days remote.
