- Conducts periodic business reviews with key agents to assess production trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Advanced Annuity Product Expertise

- Shares best practices for agent outreach, relationship management, and production development.
Product Launches & Special Projects
- Serves as a key point of contact during new annuity product launches, coordinating agent follow-up to drive awareness, applications, and production.

- Identifies workflow improvements and recommends process enhancements to management.
- Performs other sales and marketing duties as assigned.
II. Position Complexity, Interaction & Impact
The Senior Annuity Specialist exercises a high degree of independent judgment in managing key agent relationships, prioritizing outreach, and determining how best to respond to agent inquiries. Decisions are made within established product guidelines, underwriting standards, compliance requirements, and company procedures; exceptions and complex case issues are escalated to the supervisor or the appropriate department.
The position has no direct reports but mentors Annuity Specialists and uses persuasion and influence to motivate agents to place business with the company and to secure timely support from internal teams.
Interaction is primarily informative, coordinative, and advisory: educating agents on products and processes, advising on complex sales scenarios, promoting sales initiatives, and coordinating case and service needs across departments. The role reports to and works regularly with the direct supervisor and the EVP, Annuity Distribution, and interacts daily with external agents, distribution partners, and the sales team.
This position directly impacts LBIG’s success by strengthening key agent relationships, increasing application flow and production, developing the capabilities of the Annuity Specialist team, and delivering a responsive, high-quality experience that sets the company apart with its distribution partners.
