This role sits at the center of a fast-paced legal production environment where precision, structure, and reliability are essential. The Production Operations Associate supports the end-to-end lifecycle of legal transcript production, ensuring that audio, video, and written materials are accurately prepared, processed, and delivered. You will play a key part in maintaining operational consistency across transcription and deposition workflows, working closely with cross-functional teams. The work requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. You will contribute directly to the accuracy and timeliness of certified legal documents used in critical casework. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys structured processes, problem-solving, and high-volume operational work in a detail-driven setting.
- Prepare and validate source materials for transcription by organizing files, reviewing audio/video content, and ensuring inputs are complete and accurate for production workflows.
- Support pre-production and post-production processes by performing quality checks, managing exhibits, and generating supporting documentation such as errata and certificates.
- Ensure transcript packages are properly compiled, formatted, and ready for delivery, including attachment verification and file organization.
- Manage court reporter uploads, transcript formatting requests, and condensed transcript production to meet client and legal requirements.
- Oversee delivery timelines to ensure all certified transcripts and supporting materials are completed and delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to maintain workflow efficiency and resolve production issues as they arise.
- 2+ years of experience in operations, legal support, transcription services, or document management in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable working across multiple digital systems and managing structured workflows.
- Ability to follow established procedures while adapting to case-specific or client-specific requirements.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams across operations and quality functions.
- Experience with legal transcripts, court reporting, or litigation support is a strong plus.
- Competitive base salary range of $65,000–$75,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
