- Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to define and execute data-driven initiatives that improve operational efficiency and outcomes.
- Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured datasets while ensuring data quality, validation, and interpretability.
- Develop and deploy machine learning and statistical models including regression, classification, clustering, forecasting, and ensemble techniques.
- Utilize NLP and LLM-based text analytics to extract insights from clinical notes, reports, and other unstructured data sources.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and create scalable analytical workflows using Python, R, and SQL.
- Communicate complex findings effectively through reports, dashboards, visualizations, and presentations tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Build reusable, well-documented code and analytical pipelines on cloud-based platforms.
- Apply best practices in collaborative software development, including Git version control and modular coding standards.
- Independently manage multiple projects while balancing iterative development, accountability, and delivery timelines.
- PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Biomedical Informatics, or a related field; or a Master’s degree with 2–4 years of relevant data science experience.
- Proven experience solving complex analytical and machine learning problems in real-world environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or R for advanced analytics and machine learning, along with advanced SQL skills.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, AI techniques, and predictive analytics methodologies.
- Experience with advanced technologies such as deep learning, Bayesian methods, NLP, LLMs, causal modeling, or knowledge engineering.
- Ability to work with large-scale heterogeneous datasets and transform data into actionable business insights.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills with experience presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, containerization tools like Docker, and collaborative coding workflows.
- Preferred experience with healthcare-related datasets, MLOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and production AI/ML deployments.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Competitive compensation ranging from $51.05 to $76.60 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
