Description:

Marketing Manager

This position is responsible coordinating the day to day activities of the marketing functions that lead to completion of projects, tasks and initiatives. The position is responsible for execution, support and assistance to the Marketing department in all areas of the company business.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage Marketing Calendar to drive retail, admissions and service for all schools
  • Coordinate bi-monthly marketing meetings and be responsible for managing the timelines associated with all calendar events
  • Manage all marketing initiatives- planning, budgeting, execution, results
  • Drive and manage all social media strategy and content- organic and paid
  • Manage website via Wordpress
  • Develop promotions to drive retail and service sales
  • Own all communication between creative agency and internal operations team
  • Manage and respond to all Yelp and Google reviews
  • Create and schedule bi-weekly blog content to boost SEO and band recognition
  • Compile and distribute all marketing and retail reporting
  • Proficiency with Sales Force to generate reporting with Admissions and lead acquisition
  • Produce monthly recaps of all advertising initiatives
  • Generate weekly sales results and distribute amongst the schools with performance to goal and last year
  • Participate in all Aveda Marketing calls to understand and communicate upcoming retail initiatives
  • Drive admissions enrollments through social and PPC
  • Organize marketing and social update calls with field teams
  • Organize and track promotional events to gain new students
  • Execute tracking for High School Recruitment campaigns
  • Collaborate with management, internal teams and school Directors on marketing strategy
  • Special Projects as assigned

General:

  • Work in accordance with the Aveda Mission Statement; adhere to company policies and procedure
  • Manage expenses within fiscal guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings
Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree in a business-related field preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing, advertising, or retail environment
  • Proficiency with design softwares- InDesign, Illustrator or equivalent
  • Must be motived and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with WordPress
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have good follow-up skills
  • Be willing to assist all team members and able to prioritize workflow
  • Excellent computer skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Goal driven and proactive
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
