Education Instructor- RN (Ambulatory Surgical Svcs) in Abilene, Texas at Hendrick Medical Center

Plans, organizes, directs, controls, and evaluates the educational programs for appropriate nursing unit cluster, including but not limited to: community outreach, annual competencies, quality initiatives, orientation, and in-service for professional development. Assists in developing programs to meet the Joint Commission standard requirements for education. Participates in direct nursing care..

Minimum Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing unless otherwise approved by the Director

Minimum Work Experience

• 2 years in hospital clinical setting
  • Outpatient/Ambulatory Surgical Services

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse
• BLS
