Job Description
Position Summary
At Fairlane Hotel, our Front Desk Agents are more than team members - they are gracious hosts and the welcoming face of our guest experience. In this role, you will craft exceptional first impressions and lasting memories through thoughtful, personalized service. From seamless arrivals to attentive follow-up throughout each stay, you will embody the spirit of genuine hospitality that defines Fairlane.
With an eye for detail and a passion for people, you will ensure every guest feels warmly welcomed, truly valued, and impeccably cared for from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
Extend a warm, polished, and engaging welcome to every guest, creating an immediate sense of comfort and connection.
Orchestrate smooth and efficient check-in and check-out experiences with precision and care.
Process payments, verify identification, and issue room keys with accuracy and discretion.
Anticipate and respond to guest needs, inquiries, and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Serve as a knowledgeable concierge-style resource, offering personalized recommendations on hotel amenities and local experiences.
Collaborate closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared to the highest standards.
Manage reservations, modifications, and cancellations within the property management system with attention to detail.
Communicate thoughtfully via phone, email, and messaging, reflecting the hotel’s elevated service standards.
Maintain a pristine, organized, and inviting front desk and lobby environment at all times.
Uphold all safety, security, and company standards with diligence and integrity.
Support the team with additional responsibilities as needed to create a seamless guest experience.
Consistent presence at the front desk is essential to ensure uninterrupted guest service.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a luxury hotel, front desk, or guest-facing service role preferred.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a naturally warm and professional demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to confidently and accurately handle financial transactions.
Proficiency in hotel property management systems (StayNTouch experience is a plus).
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality education or training is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand comfortably for extended periods.
Occasional lifting of items up to 25 lbs.
Dexterity to operate standard office and front desk equipment.
