Outpatient UR Specialist in Rock Creek, Ohio at Ashtabula County Medical Center

Outpatient UR Specialist is responsible for maintaining and coordinating all utilization review activities with the facility. Needs to substantiate Level of Care decisions to insurance providers, administrators, and to the patient. Outpatient UR Specialist is responsible for Quality Assurance of documents within the patient's chart.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Familiar with DSM 5 and Utilization Review Criteria; effective verbal and written communication skills; basic computer skills and organizational skills. Ability to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with employees.

Required Length and Type of Experience 1 year experience in a treatment or health care related industry

Required Licensure or Certification: LSW or RN
