As our Enterprise Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level systems. You will work at the intersection of business strategy and technology, translating goals into a robust and flexible IT architecture. Your expertise will guide technical decisions and ensure systems are aligned with both commercial best practices and the rigorous standards of the Department of Defense (DoD). Designing the Architecture: You will be the lead architect, designing the overall structure of DoD and Air Force systems, including applications, data, and infrastructure. You will create roadmaps and blueprints to guide development teams.

Driving Innovation: You will identify opportunities to leverage new technologies, optimize existing systems, and improve our overall technical landscape, including cloud migration and new software solutions.

Navigating Commercial and DoD Environments: You will apply your knowledge of both commercial enterprise architecture and DoD frameworks and standards (like DoDAF). Your experience in securing and managing systems in a defense context is highly valued.

Collaborating with Stakeholders: You will work closely with teams across the organization, from engineers to executives, to ensure the architectural vision meets everyone's needs. You will be a key communicator, explaining complex technical concepts clearly.

Ensuring Security and Compliance: You will be a champion for security and compliance, especially with DoD regulations. Your designs will protect data and systems from potential threats.

A Seasoned Professional: You have 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture with a track record of designing and implementing complex systems.

Dual-World Expertise: You have demonstrable experience in both the commercial sector and with Department of Defense projects. You know how to navigate the unique challenges of each.

Architecture Frameworks: Proven experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, specifically the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and a foundational understanding of others like TOGAF.

Cloud Platforms: Deep expertise in designing and deploying solutions on major cloud providers such as AWS and/or Azure, including their security and governance services.

DoD Compliance: Hands-on experience with DoD security and compliance standards, including the Risk Management Framework (RMF), DISA STIGs, and other relevant agency guidelines.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with tools like Terraform or Ansible for automated infrastructure deployment.

Containerization & Orchestration: Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for managing modern, scalable applications.

Security Architecture: Expertise in designing secure systems, including network security, identity and access management (IAM), and data protection strategies.
