Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) opportunity in Austin, TX where we have 300 days of sunshine a year!
Description
AAG provides anesthesia services for much of the St. David’s HealthCare system in the Austin area. St. David’s Medical Center is home to the world-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute and provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. In addition to St. David’s Medical Center, our practice provides anesthesia services at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center and accompanying outpatient surgery centers.
Case Assignments
Our practice covers the full range of specialties including general inpatient and outpatient cases, trauma, OB, neuro, EP and more.
Shifts
Flexible scheduling including 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts.
Extra pay for call and overtime.

Requirements
Responsibilities
Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
Master’s Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
Complies with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines
