Loan Underwriting Officer/Lending Officer at Golden Bank NA – Houston, Texas

Role and Responsivities:

1. Review and prepare loan packages to make sure file are complete and organized
2. Perform in-depth financial analysis
3. Make recommendation regarding credit decisions, risk ratings, loan pricing and credit structure to team manager and lender(s) in line with company guidelines
4. Prepare and collect loan documents for closing and ensure all documents are complete
5. Aid in review and maintenance of existing loan portfolio
6. Collect financials from clients and analyze the data to meet financial reporting and covenant requirements.
7. Work with lenders to prepare concept memo and/or business proposal packages for prospective accounts.
8. Develop familiarity with all lending policies and procedures of the bank
9. Manage small loan portfolio including renewals, modifications, updated credit analysis, collections, and portfolio monitoring.
10. Participate in community and professional organizations and events
11. Responsible for developing new business with assigned annual goals
