Expanded Function Dental Assistant in Lexington, Kentucky at Broadway Family & Cosmetic Dentistry

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures - class I to IV fillings, temporary crowns, coronal polishing, sealants, intra-oral scanning, denture, partial and implant procedures
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Take digital radiographs using Dexis and Planmeca software
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, provide patients with instructions for oral care, etc..
• We utilize Dentrix software and Trios scanner- willing to train.
• May also assist our hygienist at times

• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Spanish Speaking is a plus but not required
