In many law firms this position is called a "Runner". At Ozarks Elder Law we see this critical role as more than that. As a member of this team, you will have a number of important responsibilities that would include:
1) Assist Case Managers in preparing files and documents for cases they are managing.
2) Work with attorneys in sourcing documents and information needed when working on case files.
3) Preparing legal documents for attorney/client meetings.
4) Participate in final presentation of estate documents with clients as a witness to the signings.
5) Assist in maintaining files in the offices.
6) Complete other office administrative tasks on requests from attorneys or case managers.
7) Travel to different offices working with attorneys and case managers assisting in client meetings.
Skill Requirements:
- Prefer a student interested in pursuing a career in law but will consider other candidates.
- Reliable transportation. Must be willing to travel to different local office locations.
- Good computer skills especially in MS Office platforms.
- Well organized and disciplined with time management.
- Can handle multiple tasks during the day.
PT/FT: Start PT but could become FT
Salary: Based on experience
