CNA PER DIEM at MAINE VETERANS HOMES – Caribou, Maine

We are currently hiring per diem CNAs! $24.75 base rate plus generous shift and weekend differentials!

The CNA is an extremely important nursing team member who provides residents with daily nursing care in accordance with the residents Plan of Care.

• Must be active and in good standing on the Maine CNA registry
• Ability and willingness to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, staff, supervisors, residents and their families
• Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in the execution of job duties including ability to identify matters which are confidential in nature, and to keep them confidential
• Must be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to understand and respond to residents' needs and inquiries in English is required.
• Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
• Basic computer skills
