Caretaker at Michael Development – St. Paul, Minnesota

Applicants must be available to work Monday -Friday from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm.
Available as needed for apartment turns.

Caretaker Responsibilities and Duties:

• To daily, keep all glass surfaces clean and common areas clean and vacuumed
• Keeping all assigned interior and exterior areas clean and free of debris by sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Must keep the community rooms clean for resident’s use, as well as public restroom and fitness room
• The Caretaker must clean all apartment turnovers in the agreed-upon time frame, typically, apartment turnovers occur between the last day of the month and the first day of the month. Apartment turnover often occurs within a 24-hour period
• Assist in delivering notices, watering plants, shoveling snow, pushing in trash dumpsters as needed, empty trash containers inside, large containers outside & in the dog park, cleaning garage as needed, and any other duties as assigned by the Manager

Caretaker Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous Housekeeping or Caretaker Experience is preferred
  
• Must be a team player and communicate daily with office and maintenance staff as needed
  
• Candidate should be organized, punctual and pay attention to detail
  
• Must be able to work independently and complete general work duties in a timely manner
  
• Must be familiar with cleaning products and their various uses
  
• Must be able to operate a carpet shampooer machine
