Veterinary Technician - Lead at Thrive Pet Healthcare – Round Rock, Texas

The Lead Vet Tech is responsible for supervising, directing, and coordinating animal health and client education tasks, while supporting the technical team to ensure quality care and efficiency. The role involves performing general technician duties, guiding and evaluating other technicians with the manager, and setting an example for the team. Proficiency in inpatient, outpatient, and surgical technician duties is required. Additionally, the Lead Tech handles basic administrative tasks, including training, scheduling, special projects, and supporting employee management through coaching and evaluations.

Thrive Round Rock offers primary and urgent care services. Our hospital team includes tenured veterinarians, nursing staff, and compassionate front office team members to ensure your clients and patients are getting the best in veterinary medicine care.

Primary Care: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm

Urgent Care: Monday-Saturday 1pm-10pm
