Economics Adjunct at Tri-County Technical College (SC) – Pendleton, South Carolina

The Tri-County Technical College Arts and Sciences Division is seeking collaborative, energetic, and innovative Economics Adjunct Instructors. Successful candidates will teach Micro and Macro Economics courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement, and assign grades for the program. Classes are offered during the day, evening, and at various Tri-County Technical College community campuses within Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties. The 2025 Fall Semester will start August 11th.

The Economics Adjunct Instructor role is a part-time employment role. Successful candidates will be required to teach face-to-face instruction at one of our four community campuses.

Qualified candidates will have a master's degree in Economics. Successful applicants will possess expertise in Economics and have a desire to work in a collaborative, learner-centered environment focused on student learning and success, and be able to function well independently. Teaching approaches are expected to include active and collaborative techniques and real world applications.

Preference will be given to applicants with higher education teaching experience.
