WAREHOUSE FULFILLMENT SPECIALIST

The Position:

PackSmart is a growing packaging equipment and supply company looking to add a Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist to support our team. You will enjoy variety in your day-to-day tasks and exposure to multiple facets of our business. The ideal candidate would have 2+ years’ picking & pulling experience working in a warehouse environment. Compensation is $21-25/hour commensurate with experience.

Compensation: $21–$25 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements:

• Must be able to multi–task and prioritize
• Ability to use and drive a forklift
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work in time-sensitive situations
• 2+ Years in Picking/Pulling Orders Required
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude & self-starter who can work alone and collaboratively to achieve company goals

Responsibilities:

• Ship and receive all product in and out of the warehouse. Ensure "First in First Out".
• Ensure all product and documents (inbound and outbound) are accurate and note any discrepancies.
• Arrange transportation with local carrier or customer preferred carrier and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay.
• Negotiates regularly inbound and outbound freight.
• Regular analysis of freight costs, fuel surcharge rates, and transportation trends.
• Completes regular Cycle Counts of Physical Inventory and oversees inventory of goods.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment inside and outside of the facility.
