Welder Millwright at GSM Industrial, Inc – Annville, Pennsylvania

Light's Welding is part of GSM Industrial, a regional leader since 1983 in industrial fabrication, installation and mechanical contracting. Light's Welding is seeking a Welder/Millwright. This position is responsible for performing a combination of field and shop-based duties involving agricultural installation, mechanical repairs, welding, and fabrication tasks. This role includes traveling to job sites to install, maintain, and repair agricultural equipment and structures, as well as completing shop-based welding and fabrication projects. The ratio of outdoor to shop work is approximately 50/50 but may vary week to week depending on project needs.

This position is Safety-Sensitive and includes tasks or duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others. Safety-Sensitive duties include operating material handling equipment, welding machines, power tools, and working at heights or in confined spaces.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with the ability to safely operate vehicles up to 26,000 lbs. combined weight.
• Minimum of 1 year of industrial metal fabrication and blueprint reading experience.
• Proficiency in welding techniques, including GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and SMAW.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts, scissors lifts, and overhead cranes.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work from ladders, in confined spaces, and lift up to 75 lbs. frequently.
• Basic mathematical skills to measure and layout dimensions accurately.
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental safety regulations.
