Procedural Services Clinical Educator (RN)

Cross-Functional Procedural Liaison

NKC Health is seeking a confident, self-directed RN to serve as a clinical educator and liaison across procedural areas, including Interventional radiology, cath lab, labor & delivery and other surgical services.

This newly created role was designed to align best practices, standardize policies, and elevate procedural care across multiple service lines. Position Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement a team-centered approach that bridges procedural areas together, ensuring the highest standard of care for every patient. This position does not have direct reports or formal disciplinary responsibility. Influence is achieved through collaboration, education and relationship-building. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Surgical Services (with a dotted-line relationship to procedural directors), this role will:

• Assess clinical practice and identify opportunities for improvement across procedural areas

• Research and implement evidence-based best practices

• Standardize policies and workflows across service lines

• Support sterility standards, consent processes and time-out protocols

• Provide education and coaching to staff and providers

• Collaborate closely with directors, educators, physicians and executive leadership

Ideal RN candidates will be:

• Highly autonomous and self-directed

• Skilled in procedural standards and surgical best practices

• Confident initiating conversations and leading change

• Strong in interpersonal communication and relationship-building

• Able to analyze data and translate research into actionable improvements

• Comfortable working across multiple departments and service lines
