About This Position
Resolute performance Iron is a specialty steel contractor seeking a Detail Lead / Prep Lead to help support
and lead our shop operations.
This is a hands-on lead position responsible for organizing and overseeing prep work for upcoming
fabrication. The Detail/Prep Lead works closely with the Shop Foreman to ensure parts are completed
accurately and efficiently, staying 1–2 weeks ahead of production. This role requires someone who takes
initiative, communicates well, and keeps the team moving forward.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a working lead for the prep/detail team
- Ensure all materials and parts are organized, prepped correctly, and meet quality standards
- Assign tasks and provide clear priority lists to prep team members
- Track employee hours and monitor production progress
- Work closely with the Shop Foreman to support scheduling and production flow
- Ensure fitters and welders have all required parts to complete their work
- Stay ahead of fabrication needs by preparing materials in advance
- Operate shop equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area
- Ensure daily tracking in TEKLA PowerFab is current and accurate
- Prior experience as a working lead in a metal fabrication environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with TEKLA PowerFab and the ability to maintain real-time tracking
- Proficient in operating:
- Forklift
- Geka Ironworker
- Stud gun
- Piranha Ironworker
- Shear
- Welding machine
- Ability to read shop drawings and follow fabrication standards
- Experience operating CNC plasma tables and press brakes is preferred
- Office and shop location is in Phoenix, AZ
- Full time position, Monday - Thursday
- Overtime may be required depending on production needs
- Work enforcement requires the ability to sit, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, and lift up to 50lbs.
