Cook - Stonewall Living Center Dietary Department

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare three balanced meals daily, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for senior residents.
- Prepare snacks that align with dietary guidelines and are approved by the nutritionist.
- Follow standardized recipes and dietary restrictions to ensure meal consistency and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
- Assist with inventory management and proper storage of food supplies.
- Collaborate with dietary staff and nutrition specialists to meet residents' dietary needs.
- Ensure timely meal service to residents, maintaining quality and presentation.

Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
SEEKING A FULLTIME LONG TIME APPLICANT - MUST BE COMMITTED.
- Proven experience in food preparation, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines for seniors.
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or certification is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds, bend squat and stand long periods of time, flexibility is a must.
- Must have food permit or certified or willing to obtain within two weeks of employment.
- MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER AND ABLE TO WORK 12 HOUR SHIFTS ON ROTATION.
