Job Description:
Like most ready-to-eat food restaurants, Hot Cookie serves a variety of customers from all backgrounds. Hot Cookie takes pride in our community and encourages our team to participate in curating our sex-positive culture. To keep the store operating at high quality standards, we expect our team to be competent in food safety policy as set forth by state and local entities and to follow best practices. Cookie Crew team members need to be able to take direction and know what the operating goals are for the day. We expect the store manager to communicate and interact proactively and effectively. Most importantly, all staff must have the ability to work in a team-oriented environment and possess a great work ethic.

Duties Include:

· Baking

· Creating delicious treats

· Designing cookie cakes

· Decorating cookies – using piping techniques with icing/chocolate

· Fulfilling orders placed through our website and other food delivery platforms

· Interacting and providing hospitality with customers from a variety of backgrounds

· Money management

· Moving inventory/product

· Maintaining a food safe and sanitary work environment

· Cleaning the store, shared workspaces, equipment, and dishes

· Provide hospitality to all guests

Qualifications

· Possess or willing to acquire a Food Handling license.

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Experience with Customer Service (Minimum 1 year desirable).

· Experience with Baking (Minimum 1 year desirable).

Physical Demands:
You will be required to carry up to 50 pounds of supplies and equipment. Please note that the Castro store is three levels and staff must move supplies between floors.
