Job Summary: The National Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets across the country. This role involves leading and managing a team of regional sales managers, building strong relationships with key clients, and collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Frasch (www.Frasch.com), a leader in innovative acoustic and architectural solutions for the built interior environment, is seeking an experienced and driven National Sales Manager to spearhead revenue growth and advance sales strategies across the United States and Canada. This position reports directly to the Division President and is part of the division’s management team. Managerial peers include the Engineering Manager, Production Manager, Accounting Manager, and Customer Experience Manager (Inside Sales). The National Sales Manager will work closely with our independent sales rep network, managing and motivating a high-performing team to exceed company goals while championing Frasch’s signature PET Felt acoustic products and architectural solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that drive revenue growth through the established independent sales representative network in the USA and Canada.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the independent sales rep team, fostering a culture of achievement, accountability, and collaboration.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quoting and ordering activities, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- Lead the team of Business Development Managers who generate new opportunities through Architectural & Design specification and Installation Contractors.
- Identify market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the architectural products, acoustics, and construction sectors relevant to the built interior environment.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and executive leadership to align sales initiatives with the overall business strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, channel partners, and industry influencers to expand Frasch’s presence and reputation.
- Prepare, present, and report on sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and performance metrics to the executive team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years’ progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales leadership or management role.
- Proven experience in one or more of the following industries: Architectural Products, Acoustics (PET Felt expertise preferred), or Construction for the built interior environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing independent sales representatives and/or business development teams in the USA and Canada.
- Strong analytical skills and expertise in tracking, interpreting, and actioning KPI data to drive business results.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate remote teams.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a passion for fostering business growth.
- Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally (as required).
