Insurance Clerk- Patient Financial Services

Communicates with all third parties on outstanding insurance accounts, and assists in processing refunds for overpaid accounts. Performs secondary billing as appropriated. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to communicate in a friendly and courteous manner and able to communicate effectively. Prior medical office experience desirable. Medical insurance experience and medical terminology preferred. Familiarity with CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding. Understanding of third party billing requirements preferred.
