YouTube Shorts Video Editor (Educational / Wellness Content) at Crushvertise – Manila Bulletin

We’re hiring a dedicated video editor with specific YouTube Shorts experience to help turn our content into high-performing, engaging educational Shorts for our skin health & wellness channel.

🛠 What You’ll Do:

*Edit 3–5 YouTube Shorts per week (30–60 sec each)

*Turn talking-head or B-roll footage into fast-paced, punchy edits

*Add captions, text overlays, music, cuts, transitions for high retention

*Work from our content repository and collaborate with our creative team

*Ensure each Short is optimized for YouTube’s unique viewer behavior

✅ Requirements:

*Proven experience editing YouTube Shorts (not just Reels or TikTok)

*Understanding of pacing, retention hooks, and visual rhythm for YT Shorts

*Reliable, detail-oriented, and communicative

*Strong grasp of English for editing captions/text

*Familiar with common educational content styles on YouTube

✨ Bonus (not required):

*Familiarity with Descript or similar tools for transcription/caption workflows

*Experience editing content in the beauty/wellness niche

*Comfortable working in Google Drive/ClickUp
