Job Summary

The Barbacks role is to organize, stock and maintain the general cleanliness of the bar area ensuring that staff can work safely and efficiently. This includes stocking and re-stocking all bar inventories and supplies, as well as assisting bartenders and cocktail servers (when applicable) in all aspects of guest service.

• Possesses in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and the company.
• Properly sets up the bar stations, performs side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management.
• Maintain general cleanliness of bar and bar area, and the entire venue.
• Maintains inventory of bar supplies and alerts managers when supplies are low.
• Ensures the delivery of all food and beverage to the guests.
• Accurately completes all end-of-shift financial procedures.
• Portrays a positive and professional attitude and appearance.
• Understands the policies and procedures of the organization and adheres to the company standards outlined in the company handbook.
• Possesses conversational knowledge of food and beverage items served at the establishment.
• Participates in training sessions, departmental meetings, or pre-shift meetings.
• Ensures the well-being of all guests and co-workers by following the Company Safety Standards and maintaining compliance with the Department of Health and OSHAA.
