ABOUT CPLC ORRThe mission of CPLC's Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is to promote the health, well-being, and stability of refugees, unaccompanied alien children, and other eligible individuals and families, through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strength-based services. Our vision is for all new arrivals to be welcomed with equitable, high-quality services and resources so they can maximize their potential. The Hummingbird shelter is a 24/7 facility. SCHEDULE
In-person, full-time, Monday-Friday. Working in a residential facility may require working evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? You will lead our clinical team, empowering unaccompanied minors and families as they navigate reunification. Under your guidance, the team will deliver accurate and timely psychosocial assessments, service plans, and progress reports. This involves supporting staff with routine consultation, clinical guidance, and emergency preparedness. You will oversee topics for weekly children groups, ensuring clinicians cover needed subjects. You may even get the chance to provide clinical services if needed. Lastly, complying with federal and state regulations is a big focus of your role.

- You are a bilingual (Spanish/English) licensed clinician in Texas. You especially thrive in a shelter environment with youth.

- You understand this work. Balancing multiple priorities, staying in compliance with federal and state requirements, adapting to sudden changes, while maintaining confidentiality is your strength.
- You practice trauma-informed care, creating a safe, non-judgmental, strengths-based environment.

Must meet one of the following education and experience:

Master’s degree in social work with 2+ years of postgraduate direct service experience, or
Master’s/Ph.D. in psychology, sociology, or a relevant behavioral science with 2+ years of postgraduate clinical experience or
Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of clinical employment in behavioral sciences.

Authorized to work in the U.S.
Pass pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle record check, background check, and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Maintain current certifications (First Aid, CPR, Emergency Behavior Intervention).
