About This Position

Overview:

Join our growing team at Chick-fil-A! We are seeking energetic and hardworking individuals who are passionate about delivering quality food and exceptional service. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a key role in ensuring every meal is prepared with care, contributing to our community-minded restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Rotate through various kitchen positions as needed.
  • Assemble sandwiches, toast buns, scoop mac and cheese, and pour soup.
  • Cook, dump, and scoop fries.
  • Lift fryer baskets from hot oil.
  • Insert food into the oven.
  • Bread chicken and place on fryer baskets for cooking.
  • Grill chicken.
  • Maintain cleanliness by wiping counters and sweeping floors.
  • Take out trash to the dumpster.
  • Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
  • Ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Assist in front-of-house stations as needed.
  • Prepare salads, fruit cups, and parfaits.
  • Count and package nuggets/strips.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous restaurant experience is a plus.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to ensure kitchen unity.
  • Skills: Ability to multitask and work in a high-intensity environment.
  • Attributes: Responsible, accountable, organized, and trustworthy.
  • Attitude: Positive, eager to learn, and committed to personal growth.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with Shift Supervisors, Managers, Directors, and the Operator.
  • Punctuality: Must be reliable and able to consistently meet shift start times.
