Internal Auditor at New Tech Global Staffing – Houston, Texas

New Tech Global is seeking an internal Auditor for a client in Houston.

Pay Rate: $100k+ based on experience

*Open to Relocation to Houston
*2-3 days work in Houston office
*Travel every other month for 2 weeks to Paris
*Must have 4-8 yrs of Auditor exp.
*2 yrs of Senior Auditor exp

Summary:
Responsible for improving the company’s operations by conducting assurance and advisory engagements by using a variety of procedures to test the design, adequacy and operating effectiveness of controls.

Job Responsibilities
• Planning, organizing, and eventually leading various audit engagements
• Examine the company's financial records, accounting practices, and business operations to identify potential risks and inefficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Analyze risk management processes, identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote transparency and accountability.
• Participate in special projects, due diligence reviews, post-acquisition reviews and investigations, as required.
• Attend seminars and training courses; stay current on job-related technology.
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement.

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• Masters or certifications (CPA/CIA/ACCA) preferred
• 4-8 yrs experience in an external audit firm. Big4 experience preferred
• Ability to travel up to 2 weeks at a time & around 6 trips a year
