This isn't your typical electrician position. As an Electrical Advisor, you'll combine your technical knowledge with your ability to build relationships, educate homeowners, and sell residential electrical solutions. You'll work with qualified leads generated by our service electricians, helping customers make informed decisions about their electrical needs.

From panel upgrades and whole-home rewiring to EV charger installations and other major electrical projects, you'll play an important role in driving revenue, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring projects are completed successfully.

Sales & Customer Solutions

• Meet with homeowners to evaluate their electrical needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Manage qualified sales opportunities generated by our service electricians, with a focus on larger residential electrical projects.

• Present estimates, explain project options, and confidently close sales.

• Build trust with customers through honest recommendations, clear communication, and exceptional service.

• Consistently meet or exceed sales goals, including revenue, closing percentages, and average ticket targets.

• Identify opportunities to offer additional electrical solutions and maintenance memberships.

Project Management & Team Collaboration

• Oversee sold electrical projects from initial assessment through completion, ensuring customer expectations are met.

• Partner with installation teams and the Install Coordinator to ensure projects are properly scheduled and executed.

• Coordinate materials, equipment, permits, and other project requirements.

• Conduct jobsite visits as needed to monitor progress, resolve concerns, and ensure quality workmanship.

• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to electricians to promote safety, efficiency, and quality.

• Ensure projects meet applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and company standards.

Customer Experience & Performance

• Follow up with homeowners throughout the project to maintain communication and ensure satisfaction.

• Address customer questions or concerns promptly and professionally.

• Maintain accurate customer information, estimates, and project updates in company systems.

• Monitor performance against key sales metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Represent Mister Sparky with professionalism and a commitment to delivering a 5-star customer experience.

• 5–6 years of residential electrical service and repair experience, with strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and installations.

• Proven sales experience with the ability to present, negotiate, and close high-value residential projects.

• Strong understanding of electrical panels, breakers, whole-home rewiring, surge protection, EV chargers, and related electrical solutions.

• Knowledge of electrical codes, permitting requirements, and safety standards.

• Experience coaching, mentoring, or providing technical guidance to field electricians.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work directly with homeowners.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities, and solve problems independently.

• Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with measurable sales goals.

• Experience with ServiceTitan or a similar CRM system is a plus.

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations.

Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various residential environments and weather conditions, including climbing, standing, crawling, accessing confined spaces, and lifting up to 90 pounds.
