Proposed Compensation: $60,000-80,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and licensing
Additional Compensation: License-holder premium and performance incentives, subject to approval

WyattWorks is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technical Advisor and OCILB License Holder to provide technical leadership, field support, quality assurance, and regulatory oversight for our growing HVAC division.

This is a hybrid technical and leadership position combining hands-on residential HVAC service with mentoring, installation oversight, equipment coordination, and departmental performance improvement.

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled HVAC professional who leads by example, develops others, understands departmental financial performance, and takes ownership of technical excellence.

Senior HVAC Technician

• Diagnose, service, and repair residential heating and cooling systems.

• Present repair and replacement options and available financing.

• Perform same-day repairs whenever possible.

• Support complex troubleshooting and customer concerns.

Technical Advisor & Team Development

• Lead biweekly training covering technical skills, sheet metal, safety, and customer service.

• Conduct ride-alongs and provide constructive technician coaching.

• Provide technical phone support to field technicians.

• Assist with interviewing and evaluating HVAC candidates.

• Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Installation Oversight & Job Execution

• Review sold installations and completed work through ServiceTitan and on-site inspections.

• Coordinate equipment and material ordering.

• Support sheet metal fabrication and complex installations.

• Assist with parts, tools, fleet readiness, and shop organization.

• Inspect technician vehicles for safety, inventory, cleanliness, and condition.

Licensing & Compliance

• Maintain applicable active OCILB licensing and continuing education.

• Fulfill required license-holder responsibilities for WyattWorks, subject to applicable OCILB rules.

• Support code compliance, permitting, and technical standards.

• Assist in maintaining safe, compliant field operations.

Department Performance & Alignment

• Partner with the HVAC Manager to improve department performance.

• Participate in monthly budget reviews.

• Monitor material costs, labor costs, conversion rates, average sales, completed installations, options presented, and customer satisfaction.

• Help develop a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and employee engagement.

• Active Ohio OCILB HVAC contractor license, eligible for assignment to WyattWorks.

• Extensive residential HVAC service, installation, and diagnostic experience.

• Strong working knowledge of furnaces, boilers, air conditioning, heat pumps, and mini-splits.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor and train technicians.

• Knowledge of applicable safety and mechanical codes.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

• Experience with ServiceTitan or comparable field service software preferred.

• License and regulatory compliance maintained.

• Consistent training and documented technician development.

• High-quality installations with minimal callbacks.

• Timely equipment and material coordination.
