Platform Experience Product Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Platform Experience Product Manager based in the United States.

The Platform Experience Product Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a unified digital platform experience across a diverse portfolio of SaaS products. This position focuses on simplifying customer interactions by creating seamless, intuitive, and consistent experiences across applications, services, and workflows. Working at the intersection of Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, and UX, the successful candidate will translate business needs and customer insights into actionable technical specifications. The role involves leading platform capabilities from initial concept through launch while balancing priorities across multiple product teams. Using data, customer feedback, and product performance indicators, this individual will drive continuous improvement and measurable business impact. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and technically proficient product leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovation-driven environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Platform experience strategy: Lead the development and delivery of a unified platform experience across multiple products, ensuring seamless customer journeys and reducing friction caused by separate logins, repeated data entry, and inconsistent interfaces.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Act as the link between commercial strategy, product development, engineering execution, and UX design to ensure alignment on platform objectives and customer experience priorities.
  • Requirements definition: Translate business objectives and customer needs into clear, detailed, engineering-ready specifications, incorporating technical considerations such as system volume, security, deployment requirements, and scalability.
  • Product lifecycle management: Lead platform feature development from ideation and planning through implementation and launch, defining detailed requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure successful delivery.
  • Roadmap prioritization: Navigate competing priorities across multiple product teams, negotiate trade-offs, establish delivery sequences, and ensure roadmap decisions focus on the highest-value customer and business outcomes.
  • Platform design and consistency: Partner with UX and Engineering teams to create intuitive, cohesive experiences across applications, shared services, platform capabilities, and customer-facing workflows within an Agile development environment.
  • Performance measurement: Use data, analytics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide product decisions, evaluate feature performance, and measure the impact of releases against customer experience and business objectives.
  • Customer engagement: Serve as the subject matter expert for the connected platform experience, engaging directly with customers and partners to understand challenges, validate requirements, and ensure delivered solutions address real-world needs.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize platform capabilities, improve integration between products, and enhance the overall usability, reliability, and consistency of the customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Professional experience: At least five years of product management experience, with a proven track record of delivering SaaS or cloud-based solutions.
  • Technical knowledge: Ability to translate business and customer requirements into detailed technical specifications, with a solid understanding of APIs, Agile development methodologies, and software architecture.
  • Platform product expertise: Demonstrated ability to understand complex technology ecosystems and communicate effectively with engineering teams regarding technical requirements and implementation considerations.
  • Prioritization and decision-making: Proven experience managing competing priorities across multiple product teams, negotiating trade-offs, and making decisive roadmap and sequencing decisions in complex product environments.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Strong experience collaborating with UX, Engineering, Architecture, and Product teams to design and deliver consistent, customer-focused platform experiences.
  • Analytical capabilities: Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data, performance metrics, and KPIs to inform product strategy and assess business and customer impact.
  • Communication skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to explain technical concepts, product priorities, and strategic recommendations clearly to both technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Organization and execution: Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, meet demanding deadlines, and maintain momentum with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred platform experience: Previous experience defining and delivering SaaS platform capabilities, including shared services, platform APIs, and multi-product integrations.
  • Preferred industry background: Experience working within multi-product technology ecosystems or dedicated platform product management organizations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, professional training, and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Professional mindset: Customer-focused, collaborative, adaptable, and innovative, with strong product judgment, integrity, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Benefits:
  • Annual base salary: $114,500–$148,800, depending on relevant experience, professional skills, geographic location, and business needs.
  • Eligibility for a company bonus plan (VOB), depending on role-specific compensation arrangements.
  • Potential eligibility for additional sales commissions or performance-based bonuses, where applicable.
  • Potential equity grants as part of the overall compensation package.
  • Remote work opportunity within the United States.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career progression.
  • Collaborative and innovation-driven working environment.
  • Opportunity to contribute to customer-focused technology solutions and large-scale platform transformation initiatives.
